Readdition of Unreliable Sources
editUser:Nirmaljoshi. The two sourced websites supporting the first paragraph are a self-published travel site and user reviews of the building. These are in no way reliable sources for the historical and religious information they are being used to support. Chariotrider555 (talk) 17:46, 26 May 2024 (UTC)
- User:Fylindfotberserk, what do you think about these sources being used to support the claims they are supporting? Chariotrider555 (talk) 00:14, 30 July 2024 (UTC)
- @Chariotrider555 and Nirmaljoshi: Obviously, the TOI and MathuraOnline are unreliable. Remove them and the content supported by them. Use WP:HISTRS compliant sources if available. Also remove honorifics - Shree, Lord, etc per WP:NCIN, MOS:HON. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 11:09, 30 July 2024 (UTC)
- Also it being a history related article, we should not be entertaining mythology and fringe theories. There is no scholarly accepted date for Mahabharata (war), except speculations of it happening in and around the Kuru period (1200 – c. 900 BCE), which is comparable to the 7-century BCE mentioned in the "unreliable" mathuraonline source. The "3200-3300 BC" recently added is unsourced/WP:OR and even if it can be sourced it would be factually incorrect/fringe going into fantasy territory. It is enough to mention it being named after Kamsa. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 11:32, 30 July 2024 (UTC)
