Kanye West is a Christian
In so many articles, it is announced outright that a person is an atheist, why not mention the obvious, documented fact that West is a Christian? We don't want to perpetuate Wikipedia's liberal bias. The only mention I saw of his faith were one faith based song, but one controversial incident in which West posed as Jesus. Here is a link to West proclaiming outright that he is a Christian. There is video footage of him stating "I'm a Christian." There is also a written transcript of his words on the site. The remarks in question begin at 27:30 of the video footage provided of the interview where he proclaims this.

This might not be the most academic site, but there is undeniable video footage of the comment. As for the fact that it was stated in an interview, and not an academic context, almost all info on celebrities is gleaned through the media, and it could be phrased like all other analogous statements, like "In an interview with Jane Doe, West stated that he was a Christian." Any time someone is an atheist, it is stated outright, and doesn't need any verification. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.169.107.173 (talk) 14:26, 12 October 2014 (UTC)
This one too he states that he is a christian.[1]

- Those are not reliable sources, and not mentioning one's religious affiliation doesn't necessarily indicate any bias. Snuggums (talk / edits) 18:34, 8 February 2015 (UTC)

High school
I'm having a hard time confirming that West graduated from West Aurora High School and not Polaris High School, also known as the Polaris School for Individual Education. According to http://nces.ed.gov/ the only Polaris currently in IL is a middle school, but there used to be a Polaris High.[1] Maybe he transferred, but The Donda West bio mentions Polaris High, and doesn't, as far as I can tell, mention Aurora at all. West's controversial incident the following year at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards was arguably his biggest controversy, and led to widespread outrage throughout the music industry.[1] During the ceremony, West crashed the stage and grabbed the microphone from winner Taylor Swift in order to proclaim that, instead, Beyoncé's video for "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)", nominated for the same award, was "one of the best videos of all time". He was subsequently withdrawn from the remainder of the show for his actions. West's tour with Lady Gaga was cancelled in response to the controversy, and it was suggested that the incident was partially responsible for 808s & Heartbreak's lack of nominations at the 52nd Grammy Awards.[2] West again crashed the stage in the 2015 Grammy awards when Becks won album of the year beating Beyoncé. Initially this looked like it was joke paying homage to the Taylor Swift incident but after the show he commented that "Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyonce." - Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. there is a rather large paragraph regarding the 2009 MTV awards already. What are you suggesting be added to the article? Cannolis (talk) 14:45, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

Banned from Grammy Awards
This just in, Kanye West has been banned from all Grammy Award Activities due to childish actions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zaphodio (talk • contribs) 17:45, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

Use real words
This page contains the word "demonishing", used as a verb. This appears in paragraph 6.4, under the heading "Concerts", in the fifth sentence of the paragraph. Neither "demonishing" nor "demonish" is actually a real word. It is not found in any legitimate dictionary. Most likely the author meant "demonizing" and this word should be changed to that. 198.55.46.16 (talk) 15:41, 11 February 2015 (UTC)By Libby on February 11, 2015
