UWF was worked shoot and not 'completely shoot' or whatever incorrect bollocks it says in the article.

What the heck is this mention of "workate" by a number? This at least needs a source; I've never heard of it, and it sounds fake. The .942 number is not mentioned in the Lou Thesz article. MikeND05 20:03, 29 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Haha you mean you actually thought it could be true? Whoever thought up that workrate percentage is a comic genius.68.151.33.23 04:30, 31 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Birthplace

edit

I'm seeing a lot of conflicting information on where Karl Gotch was born; some say Antwerp (Belgium) and others say Hamburg (Germany). The link within this article supporting his birthplace as Antwerp is a dead link so I wondered if anyone has a reliable source that would show Gotch's birthplace.Yojimbo1941 (talk) 17:32, 2 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Nickname

edit

I noticed that someone changed Gotch's nickname from "God of Wrestling" to "God of Pro-Wrestling." Going by the source article that's incorrect; further, there's conflicting information on the English translation of the Japanese nickname for Gotch, which is Puroresu no Kamisama. On one translation site "puroresu" translates to "wrestling," and lists "puroresuringu" as "prowrestling." Another translation site lists "puroresu" as "pro-wrestling." I don't speak Japanese nor do I pretend to have much knowledge of the language but the source we have in the article states "god of wrestling" so until we get someone here with a better source and grasp of the language we'll have to stick with it for now.Yojimbo1941 (talk) 17:57, 4 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
