Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion
editUser:Granuator this message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you.
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Kashi Math. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. —--PremKudvaTalk 10:00, 27 May 2013 (UTC)

Notability
editI'm not finding many sources for this subject, and most that do exist seem to be either self-published, unreliable caste association websites and news items relates to the succession court case. It's not even clear exactly what the thing is. Does it really meet our notability requirements?
Kashi Math is notable subject and have many Sources in Internet. http://www.asklaila.com/listing/Bangalore/Malleswaram/Sri+Kashi+Mutt/1A3bUOpw/ http://theflightofgods.wordpress.com/category/kashi-math/ http://www.balajisevasamiti.org/our-mutts/sri-kashimutt/ http://www.gosripuram.org/photo-gallery/Kashi-Math-Guru-Parampara.html http://www.kashimath.org/guru-parampara/ http://kashimath.in/category/guru-parampara So Please Remove the Notability Tag from the Pgae. Unexplained and uncited edits
editIf no source provided, the below content shall be deleted.
Later, because of the pressures made by the coterie surrounding him (Sudheendra Theertha), He initiated another vatu into sanyasa and named him as Samyamindra Thirtha on 20 June 2002 which created a dilemma in the community. This was against the unchangeable amendment made by the 17th Pontiff, Shrimad Bhuvanendra Tirtha in order to avoid some conflicts happened in Kashi Math. As per this Amendment Mathadhipathi of Kashi Math can initiate only one vatu into Sanyasa and he will be the Shishya Swamiji and the Utharadhikari of the Math. Mathadhipathi of kashi math cannot initiate more than one vatu into sanyasa. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ajithrshenoy (talk • contribs) 08:07, 25 May 2015 (UTC)
Murder
editI've removed the section about a murder that took place at the math. Yes, it involved an employee but it really doesn't seem to be relevant to the math itself. If, for example, the motive for murder had been a dispute relating to the succession then it might serve a useful purpose but that does not seem to be the case. - Sitush (talk) 19:40, 26 July 2015 (UTC)
Trivia etc
editThe content here, and in particular in its table, is mostly trivia of the most specious kind. Worse, much of it isn't actually verified by the sources, where sources are given at all. One person has been repeatedly reinstating the stuff for months, if not years. They need to stop. - Sitush (talk) 08:06, 15 June 2016 (UTC)
Not a directory
editI have just reverted the article. There was misuse of honorific titles and formatting, peacock wording such as "beautiful" and a massive problem with WP:NOTDIRECTORY and sourcing. If any of the other maths are notable then create sourced articles for them and perhaps consider creating an appropriate category that can contain all of them. - Sitush (talk) 17:32, 30 March 2017 (UTC)
