- Sachem Katonah was the Chief of the Ramapoo in Connecticut. The tribe itself was confederacy of other tribes in the area. Sachem Katonah had political influence over much of Southwestern Connecticut, Northern Jersey and Southeastern New York. Ramapoughnative 04:39, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

Yes. Chief Katonah is an ancestor of the Ramapough in New Jersey. Ramapoughnative (talk) 03:56, 20 April 2010 (UTC)
