- Prose quality
- You use the word "notched" quite frequently. Could use some mixing up in the paragraph on his freshman year of college
- NCAA is never actually defined or linked until the international play section, despite being used extensively in the college section
- "During stints in which team captain Grant Potulny was sidelined during the season, he served in place of him" - reads very awkward. Maybe reverse the sentence: "Ballard served as captain in place of Grant Potulny when the latter was sidelined with injury" or something similar.
- "The following season, he debuted with the Coyotes, scoring a career-high eight goals and 39 points as an NHL rookie." - This reads oddly, as it would stand to reason that a player's stats in their rookie season would be a career high. Also, when multiple numbers are used in the same sentence like that, both should either be spelled out or in numeric format. I'd suggest rewording slightly: "He scored 8 goals and 39 points as a rookie; both remain career highs."
- Ballard's wife and daughter were both born in May 2010?

- On stat tables, I think it is better if both tables are identical in width. See Theoren Fleury#Career statistics for an example.
- I'm not sure gopherhole.com would pass muster as a reliable source, though the article seems well written. I'm not going to force its removal, though sourcing to a more reliable website would be preferable.

Overall, great work as usual! Just some minor nitpicks. Cheers, Resolute 01:56, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks very much again for another review. The lineup for sports GAs is always so long, so it's much appreciated. Anyways, I've addressed all the above concerns with the exception of the Gopherhole reference. That whole college section was actually at one point heavily reliant on that ref. I've since found numerous other sources to replace it, but the two remaining sentences referencing it are the only ones I could not find a source for somewhere else. I would not object to removing them, however. The corresponding info isn't terribly important. Orlandkurtenbach (talk) 10:13, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
- Well, I doubt that source would pass at FAC, but I'm not worried about it here. The rest looks good. Cheers! Resolute 20:30, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
