Cambozola Cheese?
editHello. I came here due to this article (forgive me; I've forgotten how to cite Wiki articles): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cambozola Yet this delicious cheese -- which is often for sale at our local cheese shop here in Berkeley (California) -- is nowhere mentioned on this page.
Seems like it's an oversight. Not every city has an internationally known cheese. What do you all think? LMorland (talk) 11:20, 8 February 2014 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: page moved as primary topic -- JHunterJ (talk) 14:34, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
Kempten (Allgäu) → Kempten – Kempten (Allgäu) is easily the primary topic for the name Kempten. Kempten is currently a redirect to Kempten (Allgäu) while the disambiguation page sits at Kempten (disambiguation). Adding (Allgäu) seems an unnecessary disambiguation and I was actually quite surprised when I found the article name there. Calistemon (talk) 13:56, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose. Why lose valuable precision? Why remove useful information that is trivially easy to retain? For what gain? Let supporters of this RM demonstrate how the confusion and uncertainty it would bring is balanced by benefits. NoeticaTea? 05:37, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose—per Noetica, this would be a disservice to our readers-in-searching. Tony (talk) 05:41, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
- Support. This does appear to be the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for "Kempten", as well as the WP:COMMONNAME for the city. Of the other topics listed at the Kempten (disambiguation) page, two are former Holy Roman Empire entities named for this city, and one is a South African city possibly named after this city (and spelled differently). The other two entries are small districts. No other usage of "Kempten" rivals that of this city, which is why the bare name has redirected here for two and a half years. No reason why we should deviate from thoughtful application of consensus Wikipedia guidelines in this case. Dohn joe (talk) 19:17, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
- That argument might work if we insist on finding a primary topic, at any cost. But there is simply no call for that here, and plenty of reason not to lose precision. The needs of readers are paramount. The guidelines and policies in question are strongly contested. See continuing discussions at WT:TITLE, and a recent ArbCom case. NoeticaTea? 02:18, 14 April 2012 (UTC)
- Support. The fact that the main term redirects here and is not a disambiguation page makes this a non-branier. Agathoclea (talk) 18:40, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
- Why assume that arrangement is optimal? It may need review also. NoeticaTea? 02:18, 14 April 2012 (UTC)
- Support. The town in Bavaria is clearly the primary topic. mgeo talk 16:54, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
- Support. Clear case of primary topic. The city is more significant than those listed at the dab page, it gets far more page views, and in the first page of my google search, all ten results were for the German city. WP:PRECISION says that parenthetical disambiguation, which "(Allgäu)" is, should only be used if there is no primary topic. Neither of the opposers have actually disputed that the German city is the primary topic or that "Kempten" should be a dab page, so I see no evidence that WP:PRECISION should not apply. Jenks24 (talk) 11:13, 16 April 2012 (UTC)
- Editors here may be gifted with knowledge concerning the town of Kempten, in Allgäu; on German Wikipedia itself they seem to prefer precision, so that no reader (anywhere, ever) is disadvantaged. Do we know better, or do they? NoeticaTea? 01:05, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
