1848 in Switzerland

edit

Hi MadGeographer,

I noticed that you tagged 1848 in Switzerland as a mid-importance article. However, I feel that, this being when Switzerland was made a federal state, that it should have a high-importance tag. Therefore, I have changed it to a high-importance tag, but if you disagree with me, click on the ty. in my name, and say why. Thanks, Matty.007 09:24, 16 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Indeed! I know 1848 is an important year but I didn't realize it when I tagged the article. mgeo talk 19:56, 16 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

requested move

edit

I've started a debate on moving IHH to İHH. The previous debate resulted in a draw, opposers argued that İHH's English website used the name without diacritics, but other articles like Agnieszka Radwańska use diacritics contrary to spellings in their websites. I see Ana Ivanović has been moved to Ana Ivanovic, but I don't agree with it. Anyways, you're free to comment on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:IHH_(Turkish_NGO)#Requested_move_3 Kavas (talk) 18:32, 14 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

I have moved this addition of yours to the article's talk page. Actually needless to explain, such content esp. which such flimsy sourcing is entirely unacceptable. If you're unwilling and/or unable to be enyclopedically correct, this project may not be the place for you. --85.197.54.141 (talk) 19:09, 12 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
