- What I think should be changed (format using {{textdiff}}):
> criticized his "overly beholden" flow and "clumsy" lyricism
should be changed to
> criticized his "clumsy" lyricism and that his flow was "overly beholden to ... Jay-Z and Lil Wayne".
- Why it should be changed:
"overly beholden flow" does not parse. Beholden to whom or what? Use the full quote or omit the part about the flow.
- References supporting the possible change (format using the "cite" button):

Add to "Other Names" following names Kendrick Lamar is known by. "King Kunta", "Kung-Fu Kenny", "Mr. Morale". 2003:CA:7F23:21E2:A0C9:9685:4907:54CA (talk) 15:06, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
- The other names field is not intended for self-appointed nicknames, but for actual other names and aliases a person might be known as. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 15:36, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
"Technical artistry"
editThe lede currently says that Kendrick is known for his "technical artistry". I know he has been hailed for his technical abilities (and this is mentioned, with a source, in this article), but I'm not convinced "technical artistry" makes any sense. What is "technical artistry"? Humbledaisy (talk) 15:25, 3 October 2024 (UTC)

Remove "Famous (TBA)" from Discography, because it is not real. Endupstairs (talk) 21:54, 28 October 2024 (UTC)

Nicknames
editOn other rappers' pages, such as Tyler, The Creator and Denzel Curry, their nicknames/aliases they use in songs are featured on the page in "Also known as". Add an "Also known as" section to include his aliases such as "Kung Fu Kenny" and "oklama" to stay consistent with similar pages Dariutd (talk) 16:09, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
Billboard quote
edit>"twenty years ago, a conscious rap record wouldn't have penetrated the mainstream in the way [Lamar] did with To Pimp a Butterfly. His sense of timing is impeccable. In the midst of rampant cases of police brutality and racial tension across America, he spews raw, aggressive bard while possible cutting a rug."
should be changed to
>"twenty years ago, a conscious rap record wouldn’t have penetrated the mainstream in the way Kendrick Lamar did with To Pimp A Butterfly [...]. His sense of timing is impeccable. In the midst of rampant cases of police brutality and racial tension across America, he spews raw, aggressive bars while possibly cutting a rug."
As it currently appears in the article, the quote has multiple typos, needlessly truncates Lamar's name, and does not indicate the removed portion of the quote. I am using the same reference included in the article:
