editWell, we should at least try to get this to 1500 characters for a DYK. SchroCat, what do you think about these:
- http://www.psychodrome.co.uk/Article-My-grandfather-Kenneth-Horne-playwright - Reminiscence by grandson; I think this would pass WP:SPS
- http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/obituaries/culture-obituaries/art-obituaries/7886199/Jonathan-Horne.html - death of son (useful for information on the wife and son). The grandson has an article, too... Robert Farrar.

- There's also something called Kenneth Horne - A Complete Guide to the Playwright and Plays which may or may not be useful. (Usually Tim riley and Brianboulton do really good work with articles like this, though I don't know how busy they are right now). — Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:41, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
- I'm on the road with business for the next day or so, but I'll certainly have a look at these when I get back home. No idea what the DYK criteria are - may have to pop along later to check with you! Cheers - SchroCat (talk) 23:57, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
- Alrighty. I'll try and get through these later, though I don't have any access to paid sources or ones only accessible from the UK. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 00:00, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
- There may be a couple of other bits I can get from other sources too, but not until I'm back - I'll lkeep you posted. - SchroCat (talk) 00:06, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
- I've done what I can. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 03:40, 22 January 2014 (UTC)

Other notes:
- IMDB has him down as a screenwriter first (Almost a Honeymoon, Flying Fifty-Five, etc.). Any sources? — Crisco 1492 (talk) 02:43, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
- A Lady Mislaid; film version?
Flying Fifty-Five is his. Almost a Honeymoon sort of his. He provided the "scenario", but it was based on a play. This from the BFI who also lists a few other bits, and gives his role as a narrator/commentator for a few pieces too. The British Library lists the same works as you've already captured. - SchroCat (talk) 07:19, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
- "The British Library lists the same works as you've already captured." - There was an easier way than digging through WorldCat? Oops... for films I think we should cite BFI as it's considered a reliable source. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 08:30, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
- According to Mr Farrar, Horne had four children: Nicholas, Christopher and Jonathan, and Judith. SchroCat, do you think you could find any sources for Nicolas and Christopher? Maybe birth announcements? I don't have access to any of the Times paid stuff. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:18, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
- I'll be properly back online tomorrow morning, so I'll start digging around and see what I can come up with. You've made it into a good and solid piece of work from where I left it! - SchroCat (talk) 23:43, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks. It's nice to pull an article together where previously there was nothing (and I'm learning quite a bit as I go)! — Crisco 1492 (talk) 03:12, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
West side?
editActor George Cole, who appeared in the West Side run of A Public Mischief...
- Do you mean 'West End run'? Valetude (talk) 23:47, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
