Thanks for submitting this to GA. Unfortunately, I'll be quickfailing this on the breadth criterion – a short collection of statistics is not enough for GA. Please expand the article with content that isn't just how many yards he ran in a specific game and where he was signed. theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 03:09, 23 March 2024 (UTC)

This article was quickfailed earlier today with the rationale that this was just a short collection of statistics. It was renominated with the rationale "This guy is a special teams player and got minimal press coverage" after making a series of superficial edits, including adding who the subject's best friend was. In between the failing and the renomination, the nominator was informed about his access to WP:TWL, but has seemingly chosen to immediately forget about it. This is a shame, as there are numerous sources available there which provide in-depth, significant coverage of the subject. I provide a selection of titles below:
- Snyder, Mark; Fri 31 August 2012, page B11. "Senior LB Demens draws attention for many reasons"
- Snyder, Mark; Fri 19 October 2012, page B6. "U-M linebacker Demens back to making plays, leading"
- Snyder, Mark; Sat 16 February 2013, Page B3. "Pumped for the NFL Draft"
- Birkett, Dave; Thu 18 April 2013, Page C4. "U-M's Demens: A shot at the NFL"
- Facher, Lev; Sun 8 May 2016, Page C2. "Former LB Demnens honors moms at event"
The nominator's assertion that the subject "got minimal press coverage" is clearly false. Thus, the issues remaining from a previous GA review have not been addressed. The nominator will find, should they choose to read the relevant page, that issues remaining from a prior GA review is a WP:QUICKFAIL criterion. I am thus quickfailing this nomination, and requesting the nominator to do their damn job before nominating it a third time. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 21:35, 23 March 2024 (UTC)

- Why? You can just access it TonyTheTiger. Personally, I would make an effort to access sources before renominating a shoddy article, but I guess your "one pair of hands" have better things to do than show respect for your fellow editors. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 22:01, 23 March 2024 (UTC)

- BeanieFan11 recommended Newspapers.com, so I would recommend starting there, as it's where the above sources came from. Other than that, it's your responsibility to find sources, not the reviewer. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 22:23, 23 March 2024 (UTC)
