I have some information about her personal life, but she made it so hard to find. Should I share the information even if the actress prefers that I do not disclose the info? The info isn't like a paparazzi attack or anything, it's simply information about her spouse such as his name. Answer? Thanks. GuyHimGuy (talk) 08:03, 21 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
Would it be considered WP:OR if I take information from Los Angeles County records. The records were free to use when I requested them and I used it to confirm the alternative names and birth dates of KJB and a various other low scale celebrities. If so, how should I cite the documents?GuyHimGuy (talk) 19:40, 23 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your questions, @GuyHimGuy. They relate to important aspects related Wikipedia's coverage of living people.
WP:BLPPRIVACY says, in part, "Wikipedia includes full names and dates of birth that have been widely published by reliable sources, or by sources linked to the subject such that it may reasonably be inferred that the subject does not object to the details being made public." Your first paragraph and this policy indicate that the content that you found should not be added to the article.
WP:BLPPRIMARY says, in part, "Do not use trial transcripts and other court records, or other public documents, to support assertions about a living person. Do not use public records that include personal details, such as date of birth, home value, traffic citations, vehicle registrations, and home or business addresses." (Italics and bold in original text.) That eliminates use of material that you obtained from Los Angeles County records.
