Info incomplete
editI am disappointed to see this article and the Linebacker article that the 355th TFS Davis-Monthan AFB is given little to no recognition. Both the 354th from Mrtyle Beach and the 355th brought over the first computerized bombing birds to the war (A-7 Cosairs). The 179 day TDY that I and others from the 355th were very instrumental in the closing days of the war in Viet Nam. These two squadrons were also called on to serve as volunteer crews to Viet Nam while stationed at Korat and for the Cambodian tensions and mission to insure cooperation with peace talks. I was on one of the crews of mechanics and A-7's sent TDY to support the mission from Ubon. I turned down the opportunity to volunter with my crew chief to serve in Viet Nam. It is only right and honorable to those of us who served during this period of the war to be noted and recognized. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.93.192.225 (talk) 02:21, 23 April 2012 (UTC)

388TFW
editThe 13 Tactical Fighter Squadron (TFS) needs to be included in the 388 Tactical Fighter Wing (TFW). The 13TFS deployed to Korat form Kadena AB in May/June of 1966. Some of the pilots and enlisted were from the old 44TFS. I was one of the enlisted the arrived at Korat in early June 1966 and left June 1967 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.196.57.25 (talk) 21:11, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
