  • Well-written:
  •   After a few minor grammatical tweaks, I feel that the article's grammar, prose and general layout are appropriate, and comply with MOS guidelines.

    (a) the prose is clear, concise, and understandable to an appropriately broad audience; spelling and grammar are correct
    (b) it complies with the Manual of Style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation
  • Verifiable with no original research:
  •   The article relies on a decent handful of reputable sources, frequently citing them to verify the information presented. No information appears to violate OR policies. Like my singing? Ha-la-la-la-la-la-LA-LAAA!!! (talk) 10:42, 26 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

    (a) it contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline
    (b) reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose)
    (c) it contains no original research
  • Broad in its coverage:
  •   This article, based on my experience with literature GAs, seems to satisfactorily cover all aspects of the subject for which reliable, encyclopedic information can be gathered, and no details appear to be unnecessary. Like my singing? Ha-la-la-la-la-la-LA-LAAA!!! (talk) 10:44, 26 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

    (a) it addresses the main aspects of the topic
    (b) it stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style)
  • Neutral: it represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each.
  •   The article does not appear to hold any bias towards or against the subject. Like my singing? Ha-la-la-la-la-la-LA-LAAA!!! (talk) 10:40, 26 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Stable: it does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute.
  •   The article is a new one, being only nine days old, and all but one of the edits have been made by one editor. The only revert in the history at present was to combat a mistake on another editor's part. Like my singing? Ha-la-la-la-la-la-LA-LAAA!!! (talk) 15:38, 24 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Illustrated, if possible, by media such as images, video, or audio:
  •   The only image used in the article is of the book's cover, which is naturally relevant to the article on the book itself. The image has a valid fair use rationale and license provided. Like my singing? Ha-la-la-la-la-la-LA-LAAA!!! (talk) 15:39, 24 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

    (a) media are tagged with their copyright statuses, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content
    (b) media are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions
You're welcome! I'm sorry it's taking a while to get this review done, but I have to jostle my GAN reviews with my family's traditions in preparing for Christmas, among other things. I hope to be able to get this review done, if not today then tomorrow. Like my singing? Ha-la-la-la-la-la-LA-LAAA!!! (talk) 15:38, 24 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

After a careful review of this article, I believe it has all the makings of a winner. I'm proud to say that it has made the list of Language and literature GAs. Congratulations! Like my singing? Ha-la-la-la-la-la-LA-LAAA!!! (talk) 10:46, 26 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
