Specifications source

edit

The source used for the Specifications section (seen here) does not mention any of the specs in the article. Does anyone have a good source to cite? — TadgStirkland401 (TadgTalk) 03:00, 4 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

How does it not ? In the second page, on the right, i used those specs. Dauby09 (talk) 19:25, 5 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Dauby09, my apologies. I was looking at it using my phone and missed it. You are right. Thank you. — TadgStirkland401 (TadgTalk) 23:54, 5 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
no problem altho the specs could be improved Dauby09 (talk) 08:12, 6 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Dauby09, I suspect, now that a little of the secrecy has been lifted, that information will be forthcoming in the next couple years. It’ll probably be even longer before we learn what avionics she carries. I’ve got quite a long interest in expanding/improving that part of many aircraft articles. — TadgStirkland401 (TadgTalk) 09:08, 6 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Empty Weight > Max Takeoff weight? How does it fly? MTO listed matches that for base GulfStream G550 in its article Empty weight needs Update. Wfoj3 (talk) 00:05, 12 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

i changed the empty weight to 48300lbs, which is what the source lists as "wheight" Dauby09 (talk) 05:55, 12 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Max speed spec not correct

edit

max speed listed as mach 1.0, if this is a g550 airframe/powerplant, this is not correct. Should be mach 0.885 or there abouts. 2603:9001:3906:E46B:172F:34B6:5AC:151F (talk) 15:46, 10 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Banshee name

edit

All sources I can find for the "Banshee" name seem to be WP:BLOGS, YouTube videos, and factually sketchy military-themed clickbait websites possibly affected by citogenesis. Does anyone have a quality WP:SECONDARY source for the name? Carguychris (talk) 22:00, 13 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Great point! Also, if a WP:RS is found, the name might well be mentioned in the Designation section. — TadgStirkland401 (TadgTalk) 22:16, 13 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
