Reached the top of the charts
editAlready there are sources saying the Joan Jett parody has reached the top of the charts, but I thought the Official Chart wasn't released until tomorrow. Any thoughts? This is Paul (talk) 22:14, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
- It's kind of a moot point now since the song got to no. 1 but I've concerns this was reported ahead of the fact. This is Paul (talk) 22:13, 22 December 2019 (UTC)
Self publicity; no personal information
editThis is clearly a promotional advertisement.
It contains no information about background, education or other personal details apart from that two singles and a YouTube channel.
Without substantial information it is debatable whether the article should exist in an encyclopaedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.175.56.65 (talk) 06:49, 28 December 2019 (UTC)
- It is not an advertisement. It is written from a neutral point of view and cites enough reliable sources, and the subject meets WP:SINGER. If any reliable sources detailing background, education etc. can be found, then it would be appropriate to add a corresponding section. Linguist111my talk page 10:01, 28 December 2019 (UTC)
Catchphrase?
edit"Yes, mate" is an incredibly common thing to hear in the UK. Not really sure if it holds relevance here. Wodgester (talk) 11:11, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
He was caught cheating
editCan this be added to the page? Plenty of evidence online 2A01:CB18:1C3:7500:D80F:A22C:8FEE:5541 (talk) 19:37, 29 August 2022 (UTC)
- You have to source it. 2A00:23C6:41BE:AD01:DC80:A6C7:6C56:3192 (talk) 14:16, 30 August 2022 (UTC)
Is this article neutral?
editBefore going any further, I should lay may cards on the table and say that I am a Kunts fan. I know there have been many edits to this article recently regarding LadBaby, re the video of him with that woman at the bar etc. If there is a reliable source, such information should be added, as well as the question about how much money from his singles has gone to charity.
Because of this, I've added a POV template to this article, as hopefully that matter can be settled more civilly. ISD (talk) 19:33, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
- I don't see what this has to do with WP:NPOV. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:36, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
- I would argue that there are sources about the incident with LadBaby at the bar and thus the article should mention it. It is reported in national newspaper websites such as The Mirror and local press such as the Nottingham Post. ISD (talk) 19:42, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
- Ok, but again, what does that have to do with WP:NPOV? New information not being included in the article doesn't mean it's not neutral. Wikipedia is not a newspaper and we don't have to mention every event involving them, remember that WP:BLP is a thing as well. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:48, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
- Well, maybe NPOV is not the best tag to use, and I think it would be best to get a senior editor involved to make sure everything is neutral. I would however argue that a public figure who has been caught doing such an act is a noteworthy thing to mention in an article. ISD (talk) 20:06, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
