Problems with article
editAs it stands, the article mainly about events in and around Lalgarh. A quick look at the sources suggest that some of the references don't actually mention all the claims they supposedly reference. The article also has a POV and is not balanced. I hope someone knows enough about the area to make it an encyclopedic article following our guidelines and policies. dougweller (talk) 17:56, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
The article has factual inaccuracies, is heavily biased to the viewpoint of the PCPA and looks like a political pamphlet. For example 75% of the population have been provided land in the area. The newspapers in the references are basically owned by the main opposition party TMC. For a complete view at least four separate viewpoints should be present. The place has a long history. The place is also under West-Bengal control again since June 2009, according the BBC. They also mention it was controlled by the Maoist Naxalites, so this article seems to be completely wrong. I support a major cleanup. --Jeroen (talk) 21:52, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
