Issues
editThe article has several issues. The division into "three cycles" used by Pirenne is unrecognized by any Egyptology scholar. Mention of a land reform carried out by the biblical Joseph - a literary character that in all probability never existed - is quite pointless. Furthermore, Bakenranef has nothing to do with the New Kingdom, he never captured the reign of Sais buth rather inherited it, and he was not overthrown by feudal lords and clergy, but rather by a ruler of the 25th Dynasty.
