Why is this a Draft?
editLaura Gillen is a mainstream political candidate with experience in local government, running for a seat in Congress. Who decided that she is not notable enough for Wikipedia? Queens Historian (talk) 02:55, 30 September 2022 (UTC)
- because political candidates are generally not notable until they're elected barring exceptional circumstances. If you believe the close of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Laura Gillen was wrong (not just that you disagree), you're welcome to file a Deletion Review. - Time to make this into an actual page. She just won the election. Queens Historian (talk) 04:51, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
- You're welcome to resubmit it for consideration using the blue button on the draft. Star Mississippi 14:33, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
- The race hasn't been called yet. WP:THEREISNODEADLINE. Once the race has been called, we can either create the page for Gillen or for Anthony D'Esposito. Marquardtika (talk) 16:38, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
