Unarmed police forces

edit

Just a suggestion: Seeing as unarmed police is novelty in the world today, maybe someone could compile a list of the current police forces that is not armed on a regular basis? AFAIK this would be Iceland, Ireland, UK (not counting Northern Ireland), New Zealand, Norway... any other? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.202.221.199 (talk) 18:25, 8 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

International police

edit

I don't see the logic in this section. Theres no such force. The UN deploys police officers in the same manner as they deploy military personnel. They remain a part of the police force they originated from and only have UN authority in their assigned areas. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.57.168.217 (talk) 21:55, 31 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
