editI love her!!!!!! Added some links and corrected some spelling and capitalization mistakes. ~ Shploo
Please do not change the INTRO Paragraph. Originally when I wrote this article, it was based on an article published in an Afghan magazine that I am still searching to find so that I can reference it...NeutralWriter
- As regards your recent edit re the difference between Leila Forouhar being an Iranian pop singer and a Persian pop singer- stating that Leila Forouhar is an Iranian pop singer after having expressly stated that she is from Iran is redundant. Also, is she not a singer in the Persian language, thus making her a singer of Persian language pop? If you press the link for Iranian pop music, it goes to Persian pop music anyways. Can I change it back? Arspickles17 18:34, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Photo issue
editSeen that Sarab promotional photo on the article? I'm 99% sure that this photo has got a wrong aspect ratio! Leila looks so squeezed ... andy 62.134.226.238 06:30, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
Major Clean-up performed
editAs noted in the history of the article space, a lot of changes have been made in the article. These have been to remove the weasel words and POV that permeated the article, and have rendered it a lot closer to an encyclopedic article of a notable subject.
Some things remaining to be done, to my reckoning, is the application of the references to where they are used within the article. There is a LOT of uncited information, and I have tagged it as such. Without verifiable, reliable references, that uncited information will eventually be removed.
Additionally, if she is giving all these concerts, a free image of her must have been taken at one point or another. AS we cannot use a non-free image in the biography of a living person, we need to find a free one, such as was found for Googoosh. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 16:19, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
Another major clean-up needed?
editI'm sorry, but the text in this article is, at certain moments, one giant joke. I mean: "[...]which sold out in Afghanistan in less than a day."? :s Or: "Her hairstyle from the music video for "Cheshma-e-Nour" became for years the most sought after look in Kabul"?? Or perhaps the most funniest of all: "A survey conducted in the 70’s named Leila as every Afghan man’s "Fantasy Mistress"". This sounds so out of whack, that I strongly recommend some clean-up by those who have the sources to back it up. I really like her music, but let's try to keep some perspective here. :) --Robster1983 (talk) 15:45, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
Clean-up label added
editI have added a clean-up label for I really think that this page needs the necessary clean-up. --Robster1983 (talk) 15:48, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
