== Abby, the childlike vampire, is not female. == I added the word "seemingly" in front of the word "female."
Abby, the childlike vampire, is not female.
Abby tell the boy twice that Abby is not a girl.
In the novel, it's revealed that the vampire who turned Abby into amputated Abby's penis and testicles.
Why this is both in the American movie but never explained is mysterious.
I believe that I remember that we're shown the vampire's crotch in the Swedish movie for a second or two, although that's not an explanation.
