Uwe Boll

edit

The first sentence is redundant:

"Lexi Alexander is a German filmmaker (like Uwe Boll, both German directors) and martial artist."

Why is Uwe Boll relevant? That's like the first sentence of Martin Scorsese's bio be "Martin Scorsese is an American filmmaker (like Steven Spielberg, both American directors)."

I move to delete the Boll reference. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.150.250.189 (talk) 02:27, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Golden Groundhog Award

edit

The Golden Groundhog Awards seem to have disappeared back into obscurity. Their website is gone. I'm not so sure that this is a notable award worth mentioning. It's certainly not established to the level of either South by Southwest or the Academy Awards. --GentlemanGhost (converse) 20:53, 2 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Controversial comments about digital piracy, 2014

edit

Lexi Alexander as of June 2014 has been public about her views on digital piracy. See TorrentFreak posts for some of this news (http://torrentfreak.com/tag/lexi-alexander/), as well on her official website (http://www.lexi-alexander.com/blog/2014/6/1/will-the-real-pirates-please-stand-up).

This area of discussion will need to be put together carefully to ensure a neutral viewpoint, as well as sources to webpages with details of her opinions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by R3troSim (talkcontribs) 20:41, 6 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Controversial comments on Hollywood gender inequalities

edit

Alexander has also featured in news articles for her controversial views on gender inequalities in Hollywood. There should probably be some coverage of this. Her blog on her offical website, Lexi-Alexander.com, contains her direct views, with references to articles that have branched from these views.

Football vs soccer

edit

The article mentions both football and soccer, the former in relation to her youth, the later when talking about the film about Dougie Brimson. I think this should be consistent throughout the article as both refer to the same sport in this case and the usage of different names might confuse readers. Not sure which one to use, though. 81.14.232.116 (talk) 14:58, 2 January 2017 (UTC) stonefrogReply
