I'm not so sure about this "Nightlife in the city of Lier" secion.

Lines like "Cafés such as De Fagoempel are known by all who live in Lier" seem to express an opinion.

There is also a list of bars/clubs/cafe's ... which is incomplete. Wouldn't it be better to leave the list of all these places out of the article and just write about the area(s) which are known for thier nightlife?

I totally agree. The pubs mentioned are well known by all 16 to 18 year old ;). Areas known for their nightlife include Grote Markt, Eikelstraat, Zimmerplein and a few nearby streets. Also some pubs around the Grote Kerk. The discotheques mentioned are correct. Also worth mentioning is the Cultural Center 'De Mol' and youth house 'De Moeve'. And probably also the free concerts each thursday of july and august near the 'F. Peltzerstraat'.

Does referring to bars with their name (or bars at all) has a place on Wikipedia? Doesn't this belong on Wiki Travel? And also, the fact that a TV-series was shot in the city isn't a relevant fact either, unless it is an internationally known series. That info would be suited though for the Dutch wikipedia page of Lier. Tavernsenses (talk) 07:51, 26 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

there is a problem with the map it says 'location in province of Paris.' the corresponding piece in dutch translates to 'location of Lier in district of Mechelen in province of Antwerp.' — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.82.64.56 (talk) 09:36, 21 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
