Copyright issues
editIt looks to me like the entire emails are being quoted; no assertion is made that the emails were released under a Free license or are available under fair use (I'll give you a hint: quoting the entire email and making that be the bulk of the article most definitely is not fair use). The emails need to either have their license clarified or be removed and summarized/paraphrased instead. --Gwern (contribs) 20:43, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- Apparently this has been addressed but no-one has updated this discussion. So there. --Jerome Potts (talk) 09:16, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
System.map
editAccording to this web page, this article should link to System.map (which is an orphan article). --Jerome Potts (talk) 09:16, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
- Sounds good to me, done. --85.131.22.173 (talk) 11:06, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
Custom kernels
editI wonder if it's useful to report kerneloopses of custom kernels or are they already swamped with the official data? --85.131.22.173 (talk) 11:05, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
oops.kernel.org seems to be working
editin this article it has been written that the specified site "oops.kernel.org" is now defunct. Reference was a conversation in some Google group which said that the databases were unable to be fetched. But now they connect to 'git' properly Shashank16392 (talk) 16:06, 31 May 2013 (UTC)
- That statement was about kerneloops.org, but then someone changed kerneloops.org to oops.kernel.org. I will go ahead and remove it. -- intgr [talk] 17:06, 31 May 2013 (UTC)
- I changed it to a reference. Is that alright?

- Usually such things shouldn't be formatted as citations (see WP:CITE). I have moved it to external links. -- intgr [talk] 17:37, 31 May 2013 (UTC)
