I'd like to know what the source for this listing is. The book Box Office Hits, published by Guinness in 1995, lists the UK's box-office number one films, apparently taken from the magazine Screen International, and their listing for this year is rather different, although not always! Can we really justify keeping the information without a verifiable source?

I think these figures are not accurate. The Silence of the Lambs only grossed £291k in its first week (June 6). The Terminator 2 first weekend is more like a week's figure than its weekend gross of £2.6 million Sudiani (talk) 23:38, 29 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
I found multiple errors with the earlier chart. It seemed like it might have been the number one films in London but with made up nationwide figures for the most part given the weekly data. Have replaced with sourced data. Sudiani (talk) 22:50, 30 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
