Representative

edit

How about making a note somewhere that just says they're listed as representatives if they reprasented at any time in their career?--Jeff79 02:02, 14 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm thinking of putting those players in brakets. So Scott Prince would be:

Scott Prince ... (QLD) (AUS)

That's my suggestion. SpecialWindler talk (currently offline) 09:14, 22 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Updating

edit

How do we go about updating this page? Do we wait till official websites update theirs at the end of the season? Week-by-week could get messy.--Jeff79 20:59, 19 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes I agree. Week by Week is long and dull process. I did it week by week up to Round 9 (07), but got boring, so when the Broncos got knocked out I just updated it all. Good to see Brad Thorn retired with exactly 200 games. SpecialWindler talk (currently offline) 09:14, 22 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Steve Irwin

edit

Brisbane Broncos 2002 lists him as scoring 4 tries. This page lists him with only one.--Jeff79 21:03, 28 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

This page is wrong. he has scored 16 points. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SpecialWindler (talkcontribs) 18:53, 20 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Brook Kenneday

edit

This page lists him as having played for Queensland, but his name doesn't appear on the Queensland Maroons Players list.--Jeff79 01:47, 8 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

True, I removed the QLD part from him. Feel free to do this yourself, if you feel it is wrong. SpecialWindler talk (currently offline) 09:14, 22 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Merge?

edit

Can I get a feel for what others think of the List of Brisbane Broncos representatives being merged into this article, as a section? I think it's a pretty logical idea.--Jeff79 (talk) 05:05, 26 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

No, not yet anyway. It may be logical, but it will make it unnessasarily long.  SpecialWindler talk  05:40, 29 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
So there's no effective argument for keeping them separate? Ok.--Jeff79 (talk) 08:54, 7 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Just because theres no effectives argument of seperating, dosen't mean there is any reason to merge them. I don't really have an effective argument of merging them so ...
If you can make a sandbox of a good way to merge them, and if it looks good, I wouldn't care. But I can't really see how they would practically merge well.  The Windler talk  07:33, 8 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Broncos cap numbers

edit

Are these cap numbers reliable? If so we might as well go about putting them in players' infoboxes.--Jeff79 (talk) 17:45, 3 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I asked the person who put them in. He says he got them out of a magazine doing a profile on the Broncos. I presume they are reliable.  The Windler talk  21:29, 3 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hopelessly inaccurate/outdated pages like this one are better off deleted than giving misleading information.

There's 238 players, but the cap numbers go up beyond that. After looking at the list the cap numbers 22, 25, 26 and 73 are all missing (ie - they've been skipped). Also there's a player missing, Peter Benson, who played 4 games as an interchange in 1988 (Rounds 8, 10, 15 and 17). He didn't score any points. Refer to his record on my website (One of the listed sources for this page) http://www.rugbyleagueproject.org/players/peter-benson/summary.html Benson would be player #22 AndrewRLP (talk) 03:12, 3 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Something is definitely awry with the numbers - Kobe Hetherington and Albert Kelly debuted Round 11, 2021 as #265 and #266 respectively (see Broncos Insta and wire photos from the game). Having recently cross referenced the Bulldogs list with their history database and cross referencing photos etc, if someone’s down for it, this list could do with some thorough research.
