General cleanup needed
editThis list needs a fairly extensive once-over; there are tons of grammatical errors, and some sections are filled with superfluous information. I've started the process, but it's too big for me to handle on my own. 107.190.23.116 (talk) 11:23, 8 January 2023 (UTC)
Slimer
editRegarding Slimer, it should be noted that his size significantly changed between the first film and the first cartoon series. In the film, he's at least as tall as a standing man (probably taller), whereas in the cartoon show, he's about the size of a medium dog. --79.242.222.168 (talk) 08:44, 1 June 2016 (UTC)

Ivo Shandor
editThe section on Ivo Shandor cites no sources. I know that none of that information comes from either film, and I don't recall any of it showing up in the animated series. PurpleChez (talk) 19:46, 7 April 2017 (UTC)
- same goes for several other characters included here, including Dr. Twitty PurpleChez (talk) 19:49, 7 April 2017 (UTC)
Also, regarding Ivo Shandor -- he is described by Egon as entirely human. He was apparently dark and disturbed, but he is not a supernatural entity. In fact, he's not much more than a name mentioned in expository dialog and is incidental to the story. PurpleChez (talk) 18:54, 1 June 2020 (UTC)
Supernatural Entities
editWhy are the "Supernatural Entities" sections named like that? What's wrong with "Ghosts"? This is Ghostbusters, not Supernatural-entity-busters. JIP | Talk 17:25, 22 January 2021 (UTC)
Possible Vandalism in Slimer Section
editI deleted a sentence from the Slimer section that appears to be vandalism. It looks like it's been deleted and added again multiple times by various IP addresses. The deleted sentence claims that Slimer was in life an "Anglican Methodist priest" who performed circumcision and was murdered by a "patient." Not only is there no source, but it contradicts other sources. In addition, there are no such things as "Anglican Methodists"; Methodists ministers aren't called priests; and Christian churches do not perform circumcisions.
Gozer's titles
editI'm not sure about this, but checking the shooting script I noticed that one of Gozer's titles appears to be "Volguus Zildrohar, Lord of the Sebouillia", but in the article these are listed as separate titles. I think they should be combined, with a comma between them.
I'm pretty sure Gozer's actual name is Volguus Zildrohar.
Oscar's father certainly was not Peter
editIvan Reitman's claim to the Rolling Stone magazine in 2016 was contradicted by what Dana Barrett and Peter Venknam claimed about their earlier romantic relationship in the movie Ghostbusters II itself. They clearly stated that it fell apart after Dana dumped him.[1] In addition, I also remember during their earlier reunion that Peter stated that "Mr. Right" ditched her, and how Dana responded by claiming he took a job offer in another orchestra. While I can't find a video of it right now, Dana's brief details of the ex-husband where archived from the 1999 Ghostbusters II DVD.[1]Speakfor (talk) 02:48, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
- ^ Dana Barrett (1999). Ghostbusters II, Chapter 5: Investigating Oscar (1989) (DVD ts. 16:31-16:38). Columbia Pictures. Dana Barrett says: "He didn't ditch me. We had some problems, and he got a very good job offer from an orchestra in London, and he took it."
