Additional Citations required, and needs to be put in Alphabetical Order
editI have taken the task to put the list in alphabetical order. Have initiated the process & would request all new additions (in each respective category) to be made / included in due sequence & at the right place in the alphabetical order. Also, citations to show the notability of Kashmiri's & their link to Kashmir or of being of Kashmiri lineage should be included to improve the quality of the article. -Ambar wiki (talk) 13:48, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
- We need to be very careful here. The phrase "Kashmiri people" has several possible meanings and our own article on the subject makes that clear. I am particularly concerned about potentially implying an ethnicity when the subject has not self-identified. This would be a breach of WP:BLP. Furthermore, the area once known as Kashmir has never been properly defined and it no longer exists in the geo-political sense. To be on the safe side, if someone has not self-identified then they should not be in this list. - Sitush (talk) 13:23, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

This should be merged to List of people from jammu and kashmir.
editThis list should be merged to List of people from jammu and kashmir so many article's have written kashmiri. Kashmiri is not nationality. They are either indian or pakistani. I am working on editing them. Jammumylove (talk) 02:07, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
