The image Image:Turghunalmas.gif is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

List criteria

edit

To prevent this list from just becoming a directory of every Uyghur in the world, living or deceased, some list criteria are needed. I propose the following:

  • The person must be a verifiable member of the Uyghur community.
I.e. their Wikipedia biography must actually mention that they are a member of the Uyghur community, with a citation verifying it.
  • The person must already have an article on the English language Wikipedia.

This will help assure that this is a list of notable Uyghurs, and not just a name-check repository. Please discuss if you feel other criteria are appropriate. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:09, 6 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
