Hartley Island
editHartley Island removed, since it is not in the Gazetteer of Australia. Nor can it be verified otherwise. Its purported location 28°28′42″S 113°43′39″E / 28.47833°S 113.72750°E is in water.--Ratzer (talk) 10:30, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
- The islands (or rocks) that I added today (Barge Rock, Second Sister, Shag Rock, White Bank) are all in the Gazetteer, and the Department of Fisheries of Western Australia has area figures for them (to be added). With the exception of Second Sister, the new islands are also mentioned in the Inventory of the Land Conservation Values of the Houtman Abrolhos. In the latter documents, several unofficially named islets are also mentioned (e.g. Helms Islet 1 and Helms Islet 2 close to Helms Island), to be exploited for the main article.--Ratzer (talk) 10:42, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
