Giant's Ring: Portal or Passage Tomb

edit

Here it says the Giant's Ring is a portal tomb; in the main article it is classified as a passage tomb. Is it both (= new type of tomb)??????????????--Wanfried-Dublin (talk) 20:08, 15 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Changed to Passage Tomb; Giant's Ring is in County Down--Wanfried-Dublin (talk) 11:20, 20 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Annadorn Dolmen is Passage Tomb, not Portal Tomb

edit

The Northern Ireland Sites and Monument Record (http://appsc.doeni.gov.uk/ambit/Default.aspx) classifies Annadorn Dolmen (SMR No DOW030:007) as a passage tomb. And it does not look like a portal tomb either.--Wanfried-Dublin (talk) 20:16, 15 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Changed to Passage Tomb--Wanfried-Dublin (talk) 11:21, 20 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Knocknakilla: no portal tomb

edit

From the main Knocknakilla article: "Near the main site, a Dolmen made up from a long flat capstone supported by three upright stones is a modern re-construction." Should be corrected!!!!!!!!!--Wanfried-Dublin (talk) 20:26, 15 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Deleted "Portal Tomb"; replaced picture--Wanfried-Dublin (talk) 08:46, 19 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
