editThis a useless list, it will be outdated very soon. The section about the removals is not very useful. Nearly every arrested mafioso has been on the fugitive list one time or another. If somebody is on the fugitive list a link to the actual list itself will suffice. I suggest this list to be deleted. - Mafia Expert 20:09, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- The Italian police arrests about four of these fugitives every year, so maintaining the list shouldn't be a problem. Anyway, if you want to nominate it for deletion, I suggest you do so at WP:AFD. Mushroom (Talk) 20:17, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
It also contains wrong information, the list does not contain mostly mafiosi, but an equal number of members of the 'Ndrangheta and the Camorra. - Mafia Expert 20:27, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- In Italy "mafiosi" is commonly used as a general term, it can refer to 'Ndrangheta and Camorra as well as Mafia. But you are right, in English usage it seems to refer to the Sicilian Mafia, so I have removed it. Mushroom (Talk) 20:34, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
I am still waiting for the nomination. Mushroom (Talk) 20:34, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
I notice you at least try to keep it updated. I will not nominate it for deletion. It might even provide useful information since you now reference the arrests. You might improve it by subdividing it into fugitives from the different criminal organisations. - Mafia Expert (talk) 15:16, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for your edits and for the suggestion. Please feel free to improve this list in any way you see fit. Mushroom (Talk) 16:06, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

editI have removed material from this article that does not comply with our policy on the biographies of living persons. Biographical material must always be referenced from reliable sources, especially negative material. Negative material that does not comply with that must be immediately removed. Note that the removal does not imply that the information is either true or false.
Please do not reinsert this material unless you can provide reliable citations, and can ensure it is written in a neutral tone. Please review the relevant policies before editing in this regard. Editors should note that failure to follow this policy may result in the removal of editing privileges.--Scott MacDonald (talk) 19:28, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
- I reinserted the list. It is an official list as is mentioned in the first paragraph and there is a link to the list in External links. Everything was ALREADY properly referenced, and if you would have made the effort to check that would have been obvious from the start. If you do not know anything about a subject, it is recommended to first discuss major changes in the Talk page. That way you prevent making a fool of yourself and making stupid threats. - Mafia Expert (talk) 11:24, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
- External links are NOT acceptable references. However, I see you've put a direct reference in now, so all is well. The threat isn't stupid. Unreferenced or poorly referenced negative material gets removed. Then we can talk about it - but it stays out until properly referenced. People have been blocked for reverting BLP violations - so I'm only warning people about policy. However, I'm glad you referenced the list properly.--Scott MacDonald (talk) 14:02, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
- Get of your high horse. You removed the whole list, while there were two proper references. You do not remove information if one simple reference which was already available could have solved the issue. You should first have consulted people involved, and the threat is silly and violates the principle of assuming good faith. - Mafia Expert (talk) 23:04, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
- There is no principle of assuming good faith that allows unreferenced material to remain in a biography. I made no assumption of faith, I simply remove the material per policy. See Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Doc glasgow for how this works.--Scott MacDonald (talk) 23:53, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
- You removed at least two properly referenced people on the list. That is not policy, but vandalism. - Mafia Expert (talk) 00:03, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not responding to this idiocy.--Scott MacDonald (talk) 00:07, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- Well, as a lunatic you better shut up anyway. - Mafia Expert (talk) 00:41, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
