editI don't really see the point of this page; it's identical to List of Japanese rock bands. One of these pages should probably be deleted, but preferrably not this one - its title is more appropriate, considering the nature of some of the artists listed. Borkorg 05:19, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
...On second thoughts, the "rock bands" page should probably be organized more effectively... Borkorg 05:25, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
As Borkorg suggests, this page could really be organized more effectively by genre. There should be a section for Johnny's (Janiizu), Bijuaru-kei, and then music that is not entirely gimmick driven (i.e. rock, other j-pop, and hip-hop). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.172.227.135 (talk) 01:28, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
It's a tough call... couldn't list of Japanese rock bands be better served by category? Every Japanese rock band's page should include a category tag. That makes this index page more relevant... I disagree with deletion at this point. Tweil (talk) 20:58, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
Point of this List?
editAbove Tweil suggested making this list a category, but these categories; [1], [2], already exist. As long as one of those categories are put on the band/artist's page then they automatically get put on those lists. It is a lot simpler than editing this list constantly trying to add every band/artist. So why does this list exist? Xfansd (talk) 18:36, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
