Separate NPs
editPench National Park is in Maharashtra as well as in Madhya Pradesh. Both have been notified separately and are separate National Parks. To avoid any confusion I have given article in name Pench National Park, Madhya Pradesh. burdak 06:22, 17 July 2005 (UTC)
numerical notation confusing
editthe numerical notation used here is ***,**.00. This is confusing and is not following the normal trend of ***,***,***,***.00 (billions, millions, thousands, hundreds) or the Indian numerical trend of **,**,**,***.00 (crores, lakhs, thousands, hundreds); why is this confusing notation used? I've never seen a notation like this previously. How does one call it? Will it be called 'thousands, tens'? Then why not use ***,*.00? i.e. (thousands, units). Please change it, otherwise the numbers will be taken as 100 thousand instead of 10 thousand.

List layout and sorting - recent change
editOf course the layout can be changed if a different structure is an improvement. But the recent changes to remove the entire sorting functionality and to use "state" as primary sort column reduce the table's flexibility for various use cases - "name" would seem to be the most probable search term and a flexible sorting helps readers to find specific entries. Readers interested in a list by states can easily re-sort with 1 click. I have reverted this major overhaul back to the previous long-standing version for now. Just noting it here, as it was a major change and may need more discussion for one version or the other. GermanJoe (talk) 11:27, 20 November 2017 (UTC)
