Gujarati Vs. From Gujarat
editAre we drawing a distinction between people who are 'Gujarati' (Gujarati people) or people who are from Gujarat? I believe this page currently has both. DevanJedi 19:05, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

bhagyendra patel
editBhagyendra is a poet and artist. He works an editor with National Book Trust, India. He has published several poems, stories, reviews and other articals in various newspapers/magazines in Gujarati, Hindi, English. He has also translated various books for children.
Proposed rename to "List of Gujarati people"
editSeeing as how this list includes people who are of Gujarati descent but have never necessarily stepped foot in the state (e.g. Kal Penn, Ben Kingsley, Freddie Mercury) — in other words, they are not strictly from Gujarat — I propose that this article be renamed to List of Gujarati people.
