Clean Up?
editThis list could use some cleaning. A few fantasy, but not sword and sorcery, films have been finding their way into the list. Whateley23 (talk) 02:05, 24 September 2018 (UTC)
- Hahaha! I've already been here complaining about that matter. Whateley23 (talk) 02:30, 17 October 2019 (UTC)
Terrible List
editI had hoped to find a useful list here, but it seems to have become a kitchen sink of action/fantasy films. Sword & sorcery refers to something particular, and many of these films do not fit. There is no reason for Sinbad, Warcraft, or Solomon Kane to be here. Whateley23 (talk) 02:29, 17 October 2019 (UTC)
- OK, I've made a pass through and removed a bunch of films that aren't sword & sorcery. I haven't seen all of the ones that remain, so I don't know if I might have left some others there by mistake. I'm especially bad on the older Russian films. Whateley23 (talk) 02:43, 17 October 2019 (UTC)
Potential warnings and/or additions
editI believe this article should be given a warning that what it defines as a "Sword and Sorcery film" is subjective, and that it excludes a lot of movies that should fall into the categorisation. I do not have permission to act on this myself. 163.53.144.25 (talk) 07:03, 29 April 2023 (UTC)
List
editThe Princess Bride is not Sword & Sorcery. This no magic in that film at all. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.241.240.42 (talk) 20:18, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
Stupid List
editThis list is retarded. "Never Ending Story," "Heavy Metal," "Jack the Giant Killer," "Army of Darkness," and MANY more have nothing to do with Swords & Sorcery. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.241.240.42 (talk) 00:39, 1 September 2024 (UTC)
