Let it expand
editWe have just started the article. It is too early to assess the article for notability and consider for deletion. In fact there are hundreds of regions and the ancient tribes and people about whom Mahabharata discusses in various chapters but they are not at one place. The wikilinks also show that large number of articles are already there on Wikipedia from this list. This may prove to be good project about India related articles. Let it expand and do not think of its deletion. burdak (talk) 03:02, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
Notability
editI believe that it does satisfy notability requirements, just like List of minor Biblical figures. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 12:28, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
Roma
editCan anyone please correct the link to Roma here? If it is a name of tribe, than maybe it can be Roma (tribe).
Currently it leads to the disambig page Roma, which is definitely wrong. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 12:28, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
Fixed Roma
editThanks Amir E. Aharoni. I have changed it to Romana as used in Mahabharata English version along with Sanskrit name. I have merged Roma and Romaka to Romana. Romana still leads to a wrong link so put it as under: Romana (रॊमाण)(VI.10.54). burdak (talk) 02:42, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
Roma (city) (रोम)
editMahabharata Sabha Parva (II.48.49) mentions a city Roma in Sahdeva's conquest. So with modification added again as Roma (city) (रोम)- antākhīṃ caiva romāṃ ca yavanānāṃ puraṃ tathā, dūtair eva vaśe cakre karaṃ cainān adāpayat Mahabharata Sabha Parva (II.48.49) burdak (talk) 04:31, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
