Consistent columns in all tables
editI restored all columns for upcomings and TBA. I tried it both ways, and this seems best for the following reasons:
- Data is constantly incoming, and will eventually land in the empty cells.
- The presence of these columns offers a place for the content to be added.
- No future formatting will be required.
- Empty cells tell a tale. They actually provide information at a glance.
- Tables with some columns omitted force visitors to spend extra effort figuring out what is missing.
- The visual presentation afforded by consistent tables is worth it.
I have posted here, because my judgement is not always best. If anyone wishes the tables to be otherwise, please feel free to discuss it here. Many thanks. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 13:22, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
- I still don't really understand why a "Gross" column is in the upcoming films table. The film will be moved to the main table once released. So it really doesn't force editors to spend more time figuring it out since a unreleased film does not have a gross. —Mike Allen 05:05, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
