This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (your reason here) --Kevin Joseph Brady (talk) 10:36, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
Hey there, the page was created because of a request by Simon Stephens (playwright) on twitter for it. Following the discussions on BBCRadio5 about gender balance on wikipedia he couldn't understand why someone like Lizzie Clachan wasn't mentioned whereas other notable UK theatre people were. I understand the name was also added to the BBC's list for the '100 woman 2016' edit-a-thon to increase the number of female biographies on wikipedia. In terms of Lizzie's 'significance' as an artist, although I don't know her personally, I do know she is often studied at UK theatre schools and is considered one of the industry's leading designers...something evidenced by the quality of the institutions she's designed for. Of course, if it doesn't comply with wikipedia's suitability requirements then I apologise for adding the page.Reply
