Alignment
edit'southern end followed the alignment of the Croydon Canal from Anerley to a terminus at Croydon' This contradicts the entry for Penge which says the alignment followed the canal bed nearly to Anerley where it detoured to avoid the steep incline (for which the canal builders had used a series of locks). The canal remnant in Betts Park SE20 would also seem to contradict the above quotation. Bebofpenge (talk) 05:13, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
