- Do you have a reliable source for this? Gambian news sources, Reuters, Google News, BBC, etc. have nothing on this whatsoever.--Michig (talk) 20:31, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

I have tracked the reports of LM's death to a BBC Radio show. I have put the info in the article. The actual radio show referenced will only be available for 7 days (until Sunday). Hopefully we will be wiser then. I think it's best that we at least acknowledge the fact that there are reports. Wwwhatsup (talk) 07:15, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
- Trojan Records have a possibly reliable piece here which confirms the death and states that it was due to complications with a stomach ulcer.--Michig (talk) 06:19, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
- That link is no longer good, but I found the article here - I'll add it. Wwwhatsup (talk) 08:51, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
- There's an obituary by David Katz from The Guardian here.--Michig (talk) 21:48, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

Well spotted. I've added it as a ref to the opening sentence. It's got a lot more detail than the article - hopefully the article can be extended, although it's going to take some work to reword to avoid copyvio, eh? Wwwhatsup (talk) 06:25, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
- Actually it occurred to me that Mr. Katz's obit. was somewhat similar to a pre-existing bio of Louisa Mark, but then facts are facts and potted bios are inevitably going to contain basically the same facts in the same order. I've worked the new source into the article. --Michig (talk) 07:22, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
- You are a trooper, M. Good work. Wwwhatsup (talk) 08:28, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
