Adding a talk page section per bold/revert/discuss cycle: Added and re-added this link because it would have been useful to me, and because I think most articles link their countries in the leads anyway. If there's a good argument that the DRC is more major than other countries it would fall within WP:OVERLINK, but given South Africa, of a similar size, is also usually linked, I don't know of any.
