Talk:Make Believe Ballroom
Primary topic
edit@Wellington Bay: I observe you have recently created this article on the radio show at the primary topic title, by adding a disambiguator to the film title via page move. Can you advise what makes the radio show worthy of having the primary topic, over similarly disambiguating the show, and in turn making this article title a DAB? I'm not expressing a view, I am just trying to determine if it's likely to be the more notable topic. Thanks. Bungle (talk • contribs) 18:43, 16 June 2024 (UTC)
The radio show appears to be more significant as it popularised the idea of radio stations having disc jockeys play recorded music rather than only using live performance. It was also on the air from 1935 to 1992 (and later revived) and syndicated nationally. The movie was inspired by the radio show so I think the radio show is the primary topic. The movie (a B movie) isn't particularly well known. Wellington Bay (talk) 18:47, 16 June 2024 (UTC)
