(feauring Ratatat)
editRatatat don't do vocals so it would be weird to say "(featuring Ratatat)" after the track. They only produced the songs and not provided vocals. I remember "Stronger" having "(featuring Daft Punk)" before the album was released and knowing they provided no additional vocals on the track and when the track and album were released - nothing said featuring Daft Punk. I would like editors on here to keep the "(featuring Ratatat)" bit omitted for the time being. Douglasr007 (talk) 16:29, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
I'll trust you that it's weird, but the tracks on the leaked album have "feat. Ratatat" on them, and at least one (not sure if I heard it in the other) has someone who is clearly not Cudi come on and say "Ratatat." I'm going to re-add the "feat. Ratatat" to "Alive" and "Pursuit of Happiness" as that's how it's done on the album. Baseballbaker23 (talk) 03:02, 11 September 2009 (UTC)
- But we haven't seen the official album liner notes yet. Sure, Kid Cudi released the track listing but it's odd to say that the track is featuring Ratatat when they don't have their vocals in them. They only produced the album. I'm saying we should wait until September 15 for what the consensus is. Douglasr007 (talk) 05:57, 11 September 2009 (UTC)
- I assume that the leaked album was ripped from an official copy, which would mean that anything in the track titles on leaked songs would not change on the released version. You're probably right about just waiting, though, since it's not too long until the 15th anyway. Baseballbaker23 (talk) 18:32, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
Leak
editI didn't re-add it because clearly it has been removed several times, but how is the leaking not notable? The page is about the album, and should include important things like leaks. It being illegal to download really isn't a reason to not have it on the page: if people wish to break the law after seeing it was leaked, Wikipedia is not at fault, the downloader is. I couldn't find an official Wikipedia policy relating to this, but, if there isn't one against it, the leak really should be on the page regardless of editors' reoccupation with the illegality. Baseballbaker23 (talk) 03:13, 11 September 2009 (UTC)
Aha, point taken. Thanks. Baseballbaker23 (talk) 18:30, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
It's 2009, EVERY album leaks....It's NOT Important... and Downloading isn't illegal everywhere...
Album Review
editI would like to make a request to add a Canadian album review for this artist and their work!!

No Bonus Tracks
editAll Deluxe Editions of the album that were sold contained no bonus tracks, despite the claim that the album came with 3 (other sources say 4) bonus tracks. Apparently, the lack of bonus tracks was due to a "manufacturing error." I believe this is worth mentioning on the wiki, because it is a serious problem that has affected customers, and will affect new customers who buy the Deluxe Edition of the album.
- Depends if the situation affected a lot of customers. ♫ Douglasr007 (talk) 01:28, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
Billboard Report
editI removed this sentence: Billboard reports that sales projections for first week scans indicate that the debut is poised to sell at most 120,000 copies.[9] because there was no link to this supposed report. Unless you can prove it, don't put it up! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.154.177.160 (talk • contribs)
- You didn't see the source page at the end of the sentence? Also, stop with the parenthesis headers. ♫ Douglasr007 (talk) 17:50, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
Concept
editAs we all know, Man On The Moon: The End Of Day is a concept album, so i think more should be mentioned about " Man On The Moon's" concept, themes, lyrical content and musical style. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.214.129.15 (talk) 05:34, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
