Coordinates
editI'm not sure if the coordinates should be 34°09′N 74°24′E / 34.15°N 74.4°E (as they were written before I formatted them) or 34°15′N 74°4′E / 34.250°N 74.067°E. -- User:Docu
- As per World lake data base the coordinates of the lake are 34:15N, 74:40E as per International Lake Environment Committee (ILEC)of Japan and I expect that their data base is a verified one. This could be adopted in the Infobox--Nvvchar (talk) 13:42, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
- Wikimapia gives the coordinates as 34°14'55"N 74°40'1"E , which also talles with the coordinates given earlier.--Nvvchar (talk) 13:52, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
- Updated article to use the coords from ILEC above. --Mmdoogie (talk) 06:47, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

Manasbal.jpg
editThis image is used by:
- Jammu (in its caption it mentions Mansar Lake
- Mansar Lake (infobox)
- Manasbal Lake (infobox)
......how can a single image be used under two different lakes... one has to go In its description both locations are mentioned 1) Lake in Ganderbal district. 2) Lake near Jammu No mountains near the back side of this image] of Manasbal Lake, where as here in Mansar Lake are. Mansar lake is shorter as compared to Manasbal lake. The image is of Mansar Lake, which falls in Jammu. The uploader unknowingly has named it after the name of Manasbal Lake which falls in Kashmir valley, hence has created a confusion. Someone has inserted it into the infobox of Manasbal Lake, which it is not. It needs to be renamed and removed from this page MehrajMir ' (Talk) 04:06, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
- The lake is not Mansar, but Manasbal. Removed image from the other pages. Distant mountains can be obscured by cloud. Look instead at clearly visible features in the image. The lake is obviously too narrow to be Mansar.LeadSongDog come howl! 13:58, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
Bay Window / Garoka / Jharoka
editShouldn't the word be "Jharoka", not "Garoka" for a "Bay Window"? — iFaqeer (talk to or email me) 07:06, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
