Majri Village where shedbale family grown

ManjriBig text is unique place which is located on bank of Krishna river.

Main income of this village is comes from Agriculture & Bricks manufacturing.

Village people are in mix religion. Village main goddess (Gram devata) is Shri Laxmi.
Every year Yatra (Carnival) is performed in the village to praise the gram devata Mahalaxmi.
This yatra is performed for 2 days in the month of @December OR January & this is decided by the yatra committee.
This Yatra has some historical background, Village leader (Patil) was in Jail & during this period almighty given her presence to secure Patil's future.
But during this period almighty asked one commitment from Patil to perform her festival every year at your village (Manjri).
Based on the commitments almighty released the Patil from Jail & Night they traveled from Kagal to Majri by walk.
To commitment adherence Patil family started this Laxmi yatra every year & it is continued till date.
In this festival all religion people participate as a gram devata festival. During this festival season migrated villagers people comes back to village & perform the devotional activities to Mahalaxmi. This is the period villagers understand the how much big family. Also this is the time to meet the schoolmates. Everyone enjoys this period & it is amazing, difficult explain in short notes & this is realized by only who comes joins the festival.
From political angle village more interested in building leaders & eventually MLA also got elected from this village.
Village is living standard is below poor to poor, now slightly improving.
On August 10th 2019 a very very bad natural disaster happened i.e flood of Krinshna river made the villagers to move away from the their living home to some other place to save their lives. It was very very bad unsafe flood caused all the villagers to loose their incomes & too much losses. many of them lost their houses, corps & valuable stores. In my life this type flood never seen & even heard. This might happened because of heavy & continuous rain fall in catchment area, More water release from water reservoirs & less release of water from newly built dam. It was very very pathetic situation but villagers very very cool & never shown their hopeless demands in front government. To recover the situation to normal it may take very long period provided if government interferes & provides best of the best fund release to the flood affected villagers.
