editThere were other populated areas like St. Helena, New Caledonia in the Pacific or American Samoa, that weren't hit by the Spanish flu pandemic of 1918/19
Population?
edit- "Marajó was the only major populated area not to have documented any cases of [Spanish flu]"
We need to know how populated it is, and maybe also how populated it was in 1918-19 - figures would be most useful. Loganberry (Talk) 04:16, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

Possible outline for Marajo Island article
editI am willing to contribute. I work at the Emilio Goeldi Museu in Belém, and I have done zoological and sociological research on Marajo for the past several years. May I suggest an outline for this article? It would simplify the task of writing and attract more folks to the job. My suggestion is the following. - William Overal 15 Febuary 2007 Wloveral 00:56, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Island to North
editSomewhere in this article it should say "Marajo Island is almost equatorial, but not quite. The true equatorial island is a small island to the north, called _____." Does any one know the name of this island? Nocturnal Wanderer Sign here! 16:00, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

- This looks indeed rather odd, hardly any text but tons of references for it, that makes no sense.--Kmhkmh (talk) 06:02, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
