Possible 1940 birth?
editSome public sources are saying she was born in 1940 instead of ‘42. Is this correct?76.187.211.251 (talk) 05:32, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
I found a listing for her with the 1940 DOB on Ancestry.com. 142.147.58.213 (talk) 15:10, 5 May 2019 (UTC)
Date of birth
editI have removed the date listed as her date of birth and the accompanying citation to www.familysearch.org. Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources says (in part), "Editors see no evidence that FamilySearch performs fact-checking, and believe that the site has a questionable reputation for accuracy."
That page also notes that some content on FamilySearch comes from primary source. However, WP:BLPPRIMARY prohibits use of primary sources "to support assertions about a living person."
As with other biographies of living people, we need a reliable, published, non-primary source to support Cheatham's date of birth and other facts about her. Eddie Blick (talk) 18:53, 1 May 2023 (UTC)
