Mohun or Bohun
editIt is humprey de Mohun, not Bohun
- No, Margaret married as her second husband, Humphrey de Bohun. The de Mohun's (pronounced moon) were a different family.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 04:29, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
- In point of fact the de Mohun family had its principal seat in Somerset. One of the early de Mohun's was the Sheriff of Somerset.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 09:54, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
Is "Sir William fitz Patrick of Hertburn" somehow related to "Sir William Kirkpatrick of Nithsdale"? Sir William Kirkpatrick's father was apparently Yvonne de Kirkpatrick of Nithsdale (d. c. 1141). Nithsdale and Hertburn are about 130 miles apart and it appears that they may somehow be closely related -- does anyone have an answer?EsquireGleason (talk) 14:52, 21 September 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by EsquireGleason (talk • contribs)
